EMERGE MENTORING
We mentor youth ages 14-17 who are in foster care across Blackstone Valley, Central and Southeastern Massachusetts, and the Greater Providence, Rhode Island region.
Emerge Mentoring is built on a foundation of strong, evidence-informed practices, including national mentoring standards, developmental relationship frameworks, and trauma-informed care, ensuring every match is safe, consistent, and impactful. From that foundation, we invest deeply in mentors through training, support, and community. As a result, we create belonging, growth, identity, and lasting hope and purpose.
EMERGE VISION
"To change the trajectory of youth in foster care, equipping them to become thriving adults."
WHAT WE DO
Emerge Mentoring connects teens involved with DCF and DCYF services with trained, caring adults who commit to being a consistent presence during some of life's most formative years.
Through intentional mentor matching, ongoing training, and a structured support framework, we help young people build trusted relationships that foster confidence, belonging, resilience, and hope. Mentors spend time with youth, encourage their strengths, explore interests, and help expand possibilities for the future.
We believe every young person carries inherent value and potential. When caring adults show up consistently, relationships become a foundation for growth, helping young people discover who they are, what they can contribute, and what is possible for their future.
